• The RBA has left interest rate on hold for the 9th month in their May meeting. Governor Glenn Stevens was also more upbeat of the Australian economy than last month - 07/05/2014

• The RBA has left interest rate on hold at 2.5%. Markets are now predicting a rate rise in late 2014 or early 2015 after an upbeat speech given by the RBA boss Glenn Stevens in Hong Kong last week - 01/04/2014

• The Reserve Bank of Australia has left the interest rate unchanged at the historic low of 2.5% in five consecutive meetings. The lower A$ and higher inflation rate have reduced the chance of a rate cut in the short term. - 04/02/2014
